Ducted Heating (DYI kits available)

Ducted Heating comprises of a central heating unit which is connected to outlets that are positioned in rooms. These outlets can either be installed in the floor or the ceiling of your house. If the house is built on a slab the unit & duct work is placed in the ceiling. If you have a low roof line or have space under the house, the unit can be installed outside or under the floor. All duct work is neatly tucked away out of sight.

Advantages of Ducted Heating
The advantages of Ducted Heating, is that the whole house can be warmed at once, so no more stepping out of the warmth into a cold room. It is also a more cost effective way of heating compared to using individual gas space heaters. A more efficient way of heating your home is to zone selected areas. This means only heating the area’s that you intend to use, which helps reduce gas consumption which in turn saves you money $$$.

$600.00 per year (Zoned areas) to $1200.00 per year (whole house heated) at an average usage

Hydronic Heating (DYI kits available)

Hydronic Heating is the most natural & pleasant form of central heating. A gas fired boiler heats the water then silently circulates it through a series of radiators located in each room of the house, then returning it to the boiler to be reheated.
The benefits of this, is that each room can be thermostatically controlled.
Hydronic Heating can be installed into new and existing homes. It requires very little space within the walls or under the floor.
The radiators come in different sizes and shapes depending on your needs. Natural Convectors can be used instead of radiators, the difference being the look of the units. There are also skirting board convectors which take the place of traditional skirting boards & still deliver even distribution of warmth. All of these units can be thermostatically controlled in each room.

•           Radiant heat is the best form of heat to the body as opposed to heating the air.
•           No blowing hot dry air, draughts (which is great for allergy and asthma sufferers) or unbalanced hot & cold spots.

•           The radiators can also be hidden with decorative covers to blend with your décor.
